Why so serious?...Not!

This video I’m posting brought up to controversy in the world of being heart healthy. Elizabeth Banks teamed up with the American Heart Association and Go Red For Women and created a mini- PSA about a mother on the go having a heart attack. It’s so suppose to be somewhat funny, and not serious. That’s what stirred up some talk about how heart attacks aren’t funny. I think personally it still educates you and also, it’s nice to have something that’s not always sad and depressing but something almost relating to most mother and funny. I also want to know what everyone else thinks?

  1. Hey Natalie,

I thought that video was very real! It shows a possible and also probable scenario for many. Yeah heart attacks are not something to joke about, but that clip caught my attention and gave me more to think about than a fear infused one would have. What it told me was that yes, even young and healthy people can be susceptible to heart-illnesses, -attacks and maybe even -failure.

  2. Oh yes! I'm glad you took that away from the video, because in fact the skinniest healthiest person can be a victim of having heart disease. Not many people can realize that!

  3. Natalie,
Thank you for posting this video and writing about it! It is definitely worth sharing and I would do it. We realize these things when someone we love goes through it and leaves us aching and missing them.
    Good job!
